How to get crypto prices in Slack
TickerPal treats crypto like any other symbol. Use a USD pair with /ticker and the quote stays in Slack, private until you share it.
Install TickerPal, then type /ticker BTCUSD.
The command
Append USD to the asset. TickerPal looks up the pair and replies with the last price and daily change:
/ticker BTCUSD— Bitcoin/ticker ETHUSD— Ethereum/ticker SOLUSD— Solana, when the pair is supported
The first reply is visible only to you. Tap Share when the number is worth posting to the channel. The same card actions as stocks apply: more info, chart, watchlist, and share.
Crypto vs stocks
Stocks use a company ticker such as /ticker AAPL. Crypto uses a USD pair. Foreign exchange works the same way as crypto, for example /ticker EURUSD. If you are not sure of the syntax, run /ticker help.

Follow crypto on a watchlist
